Tournament Series

This division is designed for the more advanced golfers who wish to play competitive golf.  The juniors must be able to score under 100 on a regulation course to qualify (counting all strokes).  The juniors first two tournaments will be used as qualifiers. Juniors unable to maintain a stroke average of 100 or less may be moved to the Intermediate  Division.  Juniors must be between the ages of 10 to 18.  The boys play within age groups (10-12, 13-14, 15-18, and Open) as well as the girls (10-14 and 15-18).  Points are awarded to the top ten finishers each week. Points are used to determine our  Players of the Year.

Novice/Intermediate Series

The Novice Boys and Girls and the Intermediate Boys and Girls play at the same site each week.

The novice division is designed to introduce the game of golf to juniors who have never played or have played but are not ready to play from the forward (Red) tees. There are 5 play days of individual stroke play.  We try to have a parent walk with each group and there is a maximum score of “double par” per hole. The juniors must be 8 to 11 years of age to participate.

The intermediate division is also designed to introduce the game of golf to juniors who have never played or have played but are not ready for the competitive play of our tournament series. There are 5 play days of individual 9 hole stroke play. The juniors play the age appropriate tees (10-12 forward, 13-14 and 15-18 white).  There is a maximum score of “double par” per hole. The juniors must be 10-18 years of age to participate.
